WIDNES VIKINGS MAKE ELLGREN RETURN

Widnes Vikings have today confirmed Ellgren as their kit and apparel partner for the 2024 season and beyond.

The new partnership arrangement will see Ellgren align with the Vikings and provide the club with both on-field and off-field apparel ahead of the new campaign.

The Vikings previously donned Ellgren kits between 1998 and 2001 and now the industry leading garment manufacturers will work with the Vikings in assisting the club to increase their retail offering, providing exemplary levels of service and the highest quality on and off field garments.

Widnes Vikings Head of Operations, Chris Hamilton expressed his enthusiasm for the brand-new partnership.

“We are looking forward to this new partnership as it will provide us with a whole new range of options for our supporters in terms of leisurewear that they will be able to purchase and it will also allow us to develop and maximise our retail offering.” Said Hamilton.

“This will include a new heritage range which will cater for all ages as well as a wider range of items to choose from as well as enabling the club to benefit from one of the most recognised brands in the game.

“Ellgren have worked with us on the designs for the 2024 kits and we are looking forward to revealing these in the near future when we will be holding our traditional shirt launch event.”

Gareth Moore, Managing Director of Ellgren, said they are thrilled to be linking with the Vikings for the upcoming season.

“We are delighted to be partnering with Widnes Vikings as their official kit and apparel supplier for the 2024 season and beyond.” Said Moore.

“We pride ourselves on providing high quality on-field and off-field apparel to clubs and we are thrilled to be bringing that quality to the Vikings’ players, members and supporters.

“We have proven success working in the Championship and are excited to welcome Widnes Vikings back into the Ellgren family for the first time since 2001 and look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
