ELLGREN TEAM UP WITH UNDERBANK RANGERS

Ellgren is pleased to announce a new three-year partnership with Holmfirth-based amateur rugby league club, Underbank Rangers, as the club’s official kit and apparel partner ahead of the 2024 season. 

Established in 1884, Underbank Rangers are the second oldest rugby league club in the world and join Stanningley SARLC as the most recent amateur rugby league outfits to become a part of the Ellgren family.

During the early 1900s Underbank launched the career of rugby league legend Harold Wagstaff who would go on to be the first name to be inducted into the Rugby League Hall of Fame.

In 2020, the club made it to the fourth round of the Challenge Cup for the first time defeating Lock Lane, Distington and League One side West Wales Raiders before losing to five time cup winners Bradford Bulls at Dewsbury.

Rob Watson, a representative of Underbank Rangers, commented on his delight to have secured the deal: “Underbank Rangers are excited to be forming a partnership with Ellgren with all our teams from U10’s through to Open Age and Masters.

“We are pleased that Ellgren will be providing our kits for the celebration of the clubs 140th anniversary in 2024 as the longest running club in the world.”
